Tristan is an electrical engineer performing hardware design for Shield AI. Prior to Shield, he designed wireless devices for the medical and Internet of Things (IoT) industries. His graduate research focused on designing circuits to wirelessly control the locomotion of insects used for SLAM and search and rescue missions. During a research assistantship he designed a noninvasive human brain stimulator for neuroscience research. Tristan graduated summa cum laude with perfect GPA in both his MSEE from NC State University and his BSEE from Clemson University.
