Senior AI Engineer
Vibhav Ganesh is a Senior AI Engineer. He is the product owner for Shield AI’s State Estimation. Prior to joining Shield AI, Vib earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and his Masters in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, where he studied under Shield AI’s CTO Nathan Michael at the Resilient Intelligence Lab within the Robotics Institute. During his graduate studies, Vib completed his Master's thesis on robust distributed mapping in 3D. His research introduced a distributed perception strategy for a team of robots which allowed them to develop a consistent distributed map within communication-constrained environments that exceeds the performance characteristics of all other known approaches.
