Chris spent 12 years in the Unmanned Systems Group at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Pacific. In that time he worked on the full spectrum of robotics research from command and control to data fusion. For the past 7 years he has focused on machine learning for object detection and tracking, motion detection, and other computer vision algorithms. Chris is also a part time lecturer of robotics in the Computer Science Engineering department at the University of California San Diego (UCSD). He earned his PhD and MS in Computer Science Engineering from UCSD and two BS degrees from Purdue University.
