Ali Momeni

Design & User Experience

Ali is a multi-disciplinary designer, artist, musician, engineer and inventor. He spent 10 years teaching interactive art and computational design at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Minnesota, specializing in physical computing, digital fabrication, and interactive media installations.  His past projects include mosquitoes singing with computers, leafcutter ants solving existential puzzles, peculiar cell phone cases that are musical instruments, building-sized loudspeaker that amplifies champaign bubbles, a methodology for listening to the human gut to read the mind, analog-digital drawing machines, and tools that make complicated creative workflows accessible to children and non-technical users.
