Alexander Volynkin is a cyber security research scientist with over 15 years of experience working in the industry and academia. His research interests span across network security, cryptography and cryptanalysis, secure hardware and firmware architectures, and cutting edge reverse-engineering and security verification methods; principal investigator of DoD sponsored research projects. Alexander served as a subject matter expert for various federal government agencies on topics related to his professional expertise. He is actively involved in the research community by serving on conference program committees and expert panels, organizing workshops, teaching and training. Alexander is a recipient of multiple awards for his research publications including the nomination for the best paper (MMM-ACNS) and the best paper award (IEEE Information Assurance Conference, US Military Academy). Alexander received his MS in computer science and PhD in electrical engineering from SUNY Binghamton.
